Guarantee and return information
Unfortunately, now and then, equipment bought fails or does not work when first used. If the problem is not caused by incorrect usage/handling then a guarantee may be invoked in order to correct the problem within a certain purchase time limit. Most products have 1 year warranty.
Handling of guarantees differ between manufacturers and suppliers. Many manufacturers have their own guarantee management. Check if your manufacture is in the attached link Om garantier

The department of procurement and purchasing will then assist you with the warranty case.
Delivery of wrong goods
Wrong delivery simply means that the supplier has delivered something other than ordered. The buyer has the right to have a wrong delivery replaced at no charge, but the provider can refuse replacement if the original packaging is broken. Therefore, be careful when opening a delivered package.

Ordered wrong goods
As an authority the University does not have the right of withdrawal like a private consumer when goods are ordered.
It is however still possible to check with the supplier if they are willing to take back an order.
A return assumes that the original packaging is intact. If a manufacture approves a return, then the buyer must pay for return shipping, and in some cases can also be charged for a certain amount of the order value.
