Planning for Research Impact Workshop on Zoom Planning for Research Impact is a workshop for researchers and PhD students interested in accelerating the impact of their research. EndNote step 1 and 2 - Online Please note that this class introduces the basics of EndNote software and not the web-based version EndNote Basic. Farewell ceremony for the Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Vice-Chancellor Eva Åkesson and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Anders Malmberg are leaving their posts at Uppsala University at the end of the year. Due to the current pandemic, the planned farewell ceremony and ceremonial inauguration of their successors will only take place in virtual form. Inauguration of Uppsala University’s new vice-chancellor On 18 December, Uppsala University will inaugurate a new vice-chancellor. Current Vice-Chancellor Eva Åkesson will hand over her duties to Anders Hagfeldt in a traditional ceremony in the Grand Auditorium. Due to the current pandemic the ceremony will be held without a live audience, but will be available for viewers online. Introduction to Mendeley - online Mendeley is a free reference management program, used to generate citations and bibliographies. Besides reading, adding and organizing collections, Mendeley also offers ways for researchers to collaborate and connect, share papers, notes and annotations with colleagues. The primary target group for Mendeley is Phd students, researchers, and master students. How to apply for ERC This seminar is for those who have decided that they are going to apply for a Starting or Consolidator Grant in 2021. We will go into more detail about the different parts of the application and there will be time for questions and discussions. EndNote Step 3 - Online This workshop will include hands-on exercises and is aimed at those who have taken the introductory course and/or are already using EndNote Desktop. One page proposal This seminar is for people who have gotten quite far in their proposal development.
