Directory structure

Already during an ongoing project it´s recommended to use a folder structure that will facilitate retention of data and other documents from a project. The University recommends the folder structure below to sort material according to what should be archived and kept permanent, what can be disposed of after a certain time after a project has ended and working material that can be deleted when the project ends.

Guidance on what type of material that should be kept and for how long can be found in the retention and disposal schedule for research material. External funders can also have requrements on how long material from a project should be kept.
