About the research track
The research track ”Inflammation” covers research focusing on risk factors, etiology and disease mechanisms behind chronic inflammation that is a central driver in many different disorders, e.g. rheumatic as well as other autoimmune diseases, allergy, cancer and atherosclerosis. Within the track; clinical, epidemiological, translational, genetic and basic cell biological approaches are used.

Upcoming acitivities
Short introduction meeting
When: 25 August at 14–15.
Where: Rudbeck Laboratory, C11, BV in the meeting room Gösta Hultquist.
A meeting where you can shortly present yourself and come up with ideas on what kind of activities would be most valuable on the inflammation research track.
You don't need to inform us in advance if you plan to attend. Just show up for a chat with your fellow PhD students!
Research track day
When: Tuesday 19 September 2023, at 9–15.
Where: Rudbeck Laboratory. Meeting room will be announced later.
Discuss your project with the other PhD students in the inflammation group and present some results from your project or a project plan. The presentations will be approximately 10 minutes + 5–7 minutes for discussion.
We will also have discussions in small groups with different topics. More information will follow later. You can also send suggestions for topics that you are eager to discuss.
A lunch salad and coffee will be served.
Please notify Maija-Leena Eloranta by 28 August if you plan on attending the meeting and if you have any dietary requirements. It is important that you register your attendance so that we can plan the day in the best possible way and order salads and “fika”.
