Adapted work refers to the measures taken by an employer to adapt a work-related situation to the individual employee’s work capacity.
Rehabilitation is a collective term for all medical, psychological, social and work-based measures designed to help you regain your working capacity if you are ill or have been injured. (AFS 1993:4). Through systematic work environment management, shortcomings in a work environment can be identified and prevented. One example includes the performance management dialogue.
If you are an employee
Rehabilitation involves actively working to provide you with the help and support you need to be able to return to work as soon as possible.
