Psychosocial working environment
Psychosocial working environment can be described as conditions of work based on factors such as social interaction, cooperation and support.
The contact between colleagues and the contact between employees and heads of departments/equivalent is of great importance for the sense of security and togetherness. A good psychosocial working environment is also important for the possibilities of achieving individual goals at work as well as for the work place development.
Heads of departments/equivalent should, together with their employees, contribute to a friendly working environment by creating opportunities for good communication and transparency.
Conflicts should be handled in such a manner that they do not grow and lead to offensive treatment or illness.
The University has internal resources at the Human Resources Division who offer support in psychosocial issues. In addition to this there are also external suppliers who carry out activities aimed at strengthening individuals, working groups and heads of departments/equivalent.
