Booking, rebooking and cancelling appointments
Where requested, the occupational health service should be able to offer an appointment within ten working days from the order date (provided that the proposed time can be taken). This applies to all areas.
Anonymous appointments/telephone appointments
All members of staff have the opportunity to contact and visit a psychologist/behavioural scientist at the occupational health service on their own initiative in the event of work-related illness, without prior consultation with, or approval from, the head of department/equivalent. These appointments are referred to as anonymous appointments. All members of staff have the option to book two anonymous appointments per calendar year. For information about booking a visit, see further down this page.
Points to bear in mind when booking an anonymous visit:
- When booking, clarify that you would like an anonymous visit.
- If you would like the appointment to be conducted in English, please specify this in the booking.
Other preventive appointments and appointments within the framework of rehabilitation
Other preventive appointments and appointments within the framework of rehabilitation are to be booked only once the head of department/equivalent or HR has been consulted and given approval. The visit is to be booked in the first instance by the head of department/equivalent or HR. Employees can book an appointment themselves provided that there is a clear approval from the head of department/equivalent or other authorised person at the department/equivalent (ordering party).
Points to remember when booking other appointments and appointments within the framework of rehabilitation:
- When booking a visit, specify that approval has been obtained and the name of the person who provided approval (the ordering party). This is particularly important if an employee is booking the visit themselves. This information can be written in the “Booking message” box in the email form.
- Clearly specify when booking the visit if the feedback should be submitted to someone other than the ordering party.
- If you would like the appointment to be conducted in English, please specify this in the booking.
Booking appointments in Uppsala and Visby (note: appointments to Avonova in Visby are also booked as specified below)
- Appointments via telephone +46 771-23 00 00 (weekdays, 07:30–17:00). Please note that there is often a relatively long wait when contacting by telephone.
- Appointment via email form
The form requests that a “Cost centre” be filled in. As this information is already in the system, it does not need to be filled in (the field can be filled with –). If the cost centre is filled in, it it always your local cost centre that should be stated, even if the service is to be paid for by the HR Division.
In the case of anonymous appointments, only the Personal identity number (employee), Name (employee), Location, Email address (employee), Telephone (employee), Company name and Booking message should be filled in. Other fields can be filled with –.
The Booking message box can be used for requests to be contacted via email or telephone in order to book a suitable time. Any other requests or information can also be stated there.
When booking via email form, a confirmation is sent via email. An invitation is sent within two working days of the order date. There is an option to receive a reminder via SMS/equivalent 48 hours before the booked appointment.

Ordering other services
The other services offered by the occupational health service can be ordered by the head of department/equivalent or HR via the “Contact us" online form, including Visby. Falck will then contact the ordering party to discuss the request.
Rebooking/cancelling appointments
Rebooking/cancelling via telephone +46 771-23 00 00 (weekdays, 07:30–17:00).
- Rebooking/cancellation via online form (confirmation sent)
