Overtime, extra time, withdrawals from TOIL (T/A staff)

Manual
1. Select type of remuneration (or withdrawals from your TOIL-account) and state your employee number (note: do not use "4 - 99 Remuneration/travel other unit").
2. Register the necessary details in all fields. Click on “Add” when you are done. You may report several remunerations in the same case – select “Add” for each new date.
3. When you have finished your report and selected “Add” for each date, send the case by clicking “Submit”.

1. Select My page
Select “My page” in the left-hand column.
2. Select heading
Select heading “12. Overtime/extra hour..."
3. Select type of remuneration, or withdrawal of TOIL
Select type of remuneration in the drop-down list “Type of remuneration”. You may choose to either receive your overtime or extra time paid out as salary, or to save the hours in a TOIL account (Time off in lieu) to use the hours for leave of absence. When you withdraw hours from your TOIL-account, you must have agreed with your manager beforehand, and have checked that your account contains enough hours to cover the leave. Your TOIL account status can be seen on your latest payslip or by selecting “My page” and “13. Personal information”.

4. State the basic information of the case
Text
State the reason for the overtime or remuneration, or other relevant description in the field “Text”. For on-call duty state from-to date for the entire on-call period in the field “Text”.
Employment number
State your employment number – your different employments and their numbers can be seen at the top of the form (note: do not use "4 - 99 Remuneration/travel other unit").
Date, hours, time
State date, number of hours and times for the relevant working day. For on call-duty state the first date in the period and the total number of hours you have been on call. Select “Add”. You may report several dates in the same form. Select “Add” for each new date.
Note that hours are stated in decimal form:
15 minutes = 0.25
30 minutes = 0.5
45 minutes = 0.75
1 hour = 1.0
1 hour and 30 mins = 1.5
etc.

5. Save
Select “Save” at the bottom of the form when you have registered your remuneration. You may report your worked hours continuously during the month, but it is important to save the case each time. This way, your case will be open the next time you access Primula Web.
To find your saved case, follow steps 1 and 2 in this manual.
6. Submit your case
When you have reported all dates and have saved the case, send the case by clicking “Submit”.
