- Apply for parental leave in Primula Web no later than two months before the event
- Submit the application
- Await a response from your head of department/equivalent
1. Select My page
Click on ”My page”, which you will find in the left-hand menu column.
2. Select header
Select ”10. Parental leave”.
3. Fill in the form
Select the cause for leave in the drop-down menu according to the age of your child, "Parental leave 0-7 years" or "Parental leave 8-12 years". If there is no information on the child in question, go to "04. Personal data" in the left-hand menu column to add the child's information. Leave the field "Until" blank. Add the row by clicking on the plus sign +. Submit the case by clicking "Submit". When we have processed the case, the child will be selectable in the list.
NOTE! If you apply for parental leave before a child is born/has received its Swedish civic registration number, you do not need to select in the list. Instead, write a note stating the estimated date of birth in the form by clicking "Note/Att".
Under “Extent”, state how large a percentage of your employment you want to take leave from. If you are employed full-time (100%) and wish to take leave for half that time, enter 50%. If you are employed at 60% and wish to take leave for the whole of that time, enter 100%.
According to the Central Collective Agreement [Villkorsavtalet], any non-working days occurring during the leave are seen as part of the leave. Should the leave extend to two weeks or longer, the final weekend will also be seen as part of the leave.
4. Add and Submit
Click on "Add" and ”Submit”.
