New bank for salary payments
In September 2023, Uppsala University will change banks for salary payments, from Nordea to Danske Bank. This means that by September 15, you must have registered your account with Danske Bank in order to receive your salary – do this as soon as possible!
What must I do?
All employees must log in to Danske Bank’s salary service to register their account. The registration means that your salary is deposited into your account in the bank of your choice – you do not need to become a customer of Danske Bank. If you already are a customer of Danske Bank, you still need to register your account by following the instructions below from step 1.

- Go to Danske Bank’s salary service
- You must use Uppsala University’s customer number 79221.

BankID is required for identification
In order to register your account, you must have a BankID or mobile BankID. You will log in and identify yourself at twoday AB – Utbetalningstjänst. If you do not have a BankID, order it via your bank.

I lack a BankID or use a foreign account
You will require help from the Payroll Unit to register your information to Danske Bank. A form and a Proof of Account [kontobevis], which shows that you are the account holder for the account, must be submitted to the Payroll Unit via your contact person/administrator at your department/equiv.

How can I check if my account is registered?
You can verify your account number by logging in with your BankID on Danske Bank’s salary service. If you cannot find your account number or are unsure if your account is registered, you can also contact Danske Bank's customer service for further assistance and support at phone number 0752-48 18 50.
I already have other accounts registred at Danske bank, what must I do?
If you have other accounts registered at Danske bank, you must tie your account to Uppsala University according to the instruction, following both step 1 and 2.
What happens if I do not register my account in time?
If you do not register your account in time, your salary will be paid out via a payment notice sent to your home address as registered with the Payroll Unit.
I will be leaving my employment
The final salary payment handled by Nordea is in August. If you do not expect any salary payments from Uppsala University after this date, you do not need to register your account with Danske Bank. Check with your administrator when your final salary payment is due.
