Information on the processing of personal data in Primula
Primula is the University's system for handling payroll and personnel administration. The system handles information about people who are or have been employed by Uppsala University. The personal data processed includes name, personal identity number, contact and address information, AKKA ID, and information about employment, skills, leave, illness, holidays, benefits, pensions, etc.
The purpose of processing the personal data is to be able to pay the right salary to you as an employee. No personal data is transferred to third countries (countries that are not members of the EU or EEA). Basic personal data such as name and email address may be transferred to systems for which the HR Division and the University are responsible to facilitate your use of the University's systems.

You have the right to request an extract from the register in order to check what information is registered about you. Read more about your rights and how the University handles personal data. The personal data is retained in Primula as long as the data is considered necessary and your access to Primula is terminated upon termination of your employment.
